Dungeons And Dragons Cake
Help! My Mom is taking over my Birthday party. Am I out of line?
My birthday is coming up and my Mom is planning a Birthday Party for me. Problem is, it has to be her way or no way. I wanted to have a Dungeons & Dragons theme with a castle cake. But she insists D&D is the Devil’s tool and wants it to be at a rollerskating rink. Then she tells me she rented a magician, even after I told her I wanted Spider-man. Now she’s saying we can’t drink, even though most of my friends and coworkers do. Am I being unreasonable? The way I see it, you only turn 40 once in your life, and it should be my day. But I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.
Aw, c’mon…Mom only gets to see her baby turn 40 once…..humor her…..
