Dragon Movie September
Will the new movie “Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight” be released in the theaters or only on DVD?
The movie is set to be released in September 2007, but I cannot find out if it will be released in the theaters or if it will be a DVD release only. Please help!
Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman hit the convention circuit last year talking about the movie. They said it was to be released direct-to-DVD format only. Now on the website, thought, they talk about the film as a theatrical release. Maybe there is hope yet. I heard that they may show the movie on the convention circuit this year, but now it may be possible that it will have a limited public release. The theatrical release may only be speculation. The only thing I’ve seen or heard for certain was direct-to-DVD at GenCon last year. Here’s a link to the film website (note it says “worldwide commercial theatrical release”):
