Why are Japanese Anime are more based in Chinese than Japanese?
Why are Japanese Anime are more based in Chinese than Japanese for example, Fushigi yugi, uses Chinese costumes than kimono. Dragon ball which is based on Chinese folk novel “Journey to west”.

I wouldn’t say that. Many many Japanese Anime are based in Japan. I see a lot of Animes that have Japanese schools, or about the Japanese military for example. Yes there are a few based around Chinese culture, but I think they are more Japanese based. China is also not that far away so there would be a few influences from there.
