Dragon Book For Kids
I can’t remember the title or author of a book I read years ago!?
I have sketchy memories of reading this book as a kid but I can’t for the life of me remember it. There are dragons in it that are connected to certain humans who have a birthmark. A boy with a birthmark is held captive to lure a dragon in. I think he has a sister as well and they remember their mother talking about “yearning for the sky”. Also the people connected to the dragons are bards and I think at the end of the book the main character has been captured, there was a sequel that I never read. The only thing I know for certain is that it isn’t the Pern books. (These are the things I think of when I can’t sleep because of thunderstorms, anyone who knows what this is will be my hero!)
