Dragon Book English And Spanish
Are there any Swedish shows I can get on DVD or watch online with subtitles?
Let me explain, my boyfriend is Swedish and we are going to Sweden to met his parents in about six months. I know a bit of the language already, but I want to watch some Swedish shows (or movies) to get a better understanding of it. So does anyone know of any Swedish shows that I could watch with English subtitles (Spanish would work too, but I think English is a much more likely option). I’ve been looking online and I have not found much. Thank you I hope to hear lots of responses ^.^ ( Oh and no “Girl With the Dragon Tattoo”/”Män som hatar kvinnor”! I’m reading the books before I see the movies!)
on this site you can watch swedish shows, though they don’t have english subtitles I’m afraid. this show is a show called cleo, and it’s really good (click on “Del 1 av 9″ if you want to watch the first part):

you can watch lots of other swedish shows on this site as well, it might be worth having a look (there’s also lots of english shows with swedish subtitles, maybe that could work as well?):

though I’m sure your visit to sweden will go smoothly even if you don’t know swedish, since most (all?) swedes speak good english
